Baked Wild Blueberry Oatmeal




Love oatmeal but want something a little more special for breakfast? This baked wild blueberry oatmeal is warm, comforting, and packed with juicy wild blueberries and hearty oats. It’s lightly sweetened, easy to prepare, and perfect for make-ahead breakfasts on busy mornings or slow weekend brunches.

Baked Wild Blueberry Oatmeal
Equipment
- large bowl
- 8" x 11" baking dish
Ingredients
- 3 cups quick oat flakes
- 1 1/2 cups 1% milk (or oat milk)
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup applesauce
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups frozen wild blueberries
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F.⠀
- In a large bowl, mix all ingredient (except for walnuts) and pour into a baking dish. I’m using an 8” x 11” dish.⠀

- Sprinkle the walnuts evenly over the oats and bake for 35-40 min. Let cool for 5 min and enjoy right away! 😋

Can I use frozen wild blueberries?
Yes, frozen wild blueberries work perfectly and can be added straight to the oatmeal without thawing.
Can I make baked oatmeal ahead of time?
Absolutely. This oatmeal keeps well in the fridge for up to 4 days and reheats easily.
