Best BBQ Ribs Ever!

Would a long weekend really be great without throwing something on the BBQ? Although these BBQ ribs will spend more time in the oven than on the grill, they still deserve to be featured!

Best BBQ Ribs Ever!
Ingredients
- 2 racks pork baby back ribs (about 4 lbs)
- 1/2 cup apple sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsps brown sugar
- 3 tbsps lemon juice (1 small lemon)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300F.
- In small saucepan, combine all the sauce ingredients, bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 15 min. Set aside and let cool. If your ribs are on the larger side, then double the sauce recipe!
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil that is double the length of your baking sheet (we’re going to make a big sleeping bag for the ribs).
- Place one rack of ribs on the aluminum foil centered to the baking sheet. Take half the sauce and generously coat all sides of the rack.
- Gently fold the aluminum foil over the ribs and align with the other edges of the foil. Fold edges on all sides upwards so all seams are are facing up. Repeat steps 2 & 3 for second rack of ribs.
- Bake ribs for 2.5 hours. Once done, finish them off on the BBQ for 2-4 min on each side . Enjoy these finger licking bad boys
