Ricotta Fritta – Fried Ricotta with Truffle Sauce

Have some leftover ricotta? Unless you’re going to spread it on toast with jam (omg so good), make some delicious fried ricotta appetizers! They’re easy, fast and go well with truffle sauce, tomato sauce and pesto!

Ricotta Fritta – Fried Ricotta with Truffle Sauce

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Total Time 20 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup ricotta
  • 2 tbsp parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp bread crumbs
  • handful parsley, chopped finely
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients in a medium-size bowl and mix until well combined.
  • Heat a medium-size frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil.
  • With 2 spoons, scoop out little balls and drop them into the frying pan.
  • Fry each side for about 5 min or until nice and golden. Garnish with Totarella & Sons black truffle sauce and enjoy!
