The Best Creamy Oatmeal Bowl
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tbsp tahini
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1-2 pitted dates, minced
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- pinch of ground cloves (optional)
Toppings (the fun part):
- Dollop of vanilla yogurt
- Dollop of wild blueberry jam (or any other jam you like)
- Raspberries (or blueberries, or bananas, or…)
- Crushed walnuts for sprinkling
- pinch of cinnamon to make it pretty
Instructions
- Prepare your toppings and set aside! This way you can enjoy your oatmeal while it’s nice and hot.
- Mix all ingredients in a small sauce pan and bring to a boil. Once bubbling, reduce the heat to low and cook for 5 min while stirring.
- When oatmeal is ready, transfer to a bowl and have fun with your toppings.
