Baked Brie Wine Pairing with Prosciutto Wrapped Peaches

Looking for the perfect baked brie wine pairing? This prosciutto wrapped peaches and brie appetizer combines creamy baked brie, sweet peaches, and salty prosciutto for an elegant bite that pairs beautifully with white wine. It’s an easy, crowd-pleasing appetizer for wine tastings, dinner parties, or holiday entertaining.
Why Baked Brie Works So Well for Wine Tastings
Baked brie is one of the most popular appetizers for wine tastings because of its rich, creamy texture and mild flavor. It pairs especially well with white wines like Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and sparkling wines, while sweet additions like peaches balance the saltiness of prosciutto and cheese.
Craving a glass of Chardonnay?
How about some cheesy appetizers to pair with those two (or more) glasses! Chardonnay is a green-skinned grape and one of the world’s most popular white wines. It’s also the major grape in Champagne and other sparkling wines. It originates from France and grows in many parts of the world. It is typically dry, medium-to-full-bodied, and can taste different depending on where it grows and how it is made. Its tastes can range from light, citrus and crisp, to rich, buttery, and spicy when aged in oak barrels. Unoaked Chardonnay pairs well with mild cheeses, light meats, and delicate fish. Oaked Chardonnay on the other hand, pairs better with rich or creamier dishes.
For another elegant appetizer option, try this carpaccio pizza topped with black truffle. A simple sauce like truffle aioli also pairs beautifully with wine-focused menus.
